Mr. Saim Hashmi is the senior most lawyer at our firm. He originally headed Corporate Section for many years, drafting and structuring Pakistan’s first seven SECP approved securitisation transactions, syndicate finance and listed TFCs both listed and privately placed, successfully completing a most difficult due diligence of NDFC for NBP. Also, over the years, he offered opinions on a whole range of commercial and corporate laws.

Later on, Mr. Hashmi shifted to the firm’s litigation side and has since appeared and argued some of the most complex legal propositions before all High Courts in Pakistan and has obtained favourable judgments and orders in many cases. He has also represented prominent clients and has argued contentious matters before Honourabe Supreme Court of Pakistan.

In view of increasing work pressure on the corporate side of the firm, Mr. Hashmi has again taken charge of the Corporate Section and currently heads a team of about a dozen lawyers.

Mr. Hashmi brings with him an unmatched wealth of direct knowledge and experience of working on the corporate as well litigation side of commercial and corporate laws of Pakistan.
